Occurring right after Thanksgiving and Black Friday, Cyber Monday is quickly-rising shopping season as the retail is quickly becoming online-focused. According to one report, the revenue during Cyber Monday actually exceeded that of Black Friday, thanks to social media. As the period spanning between Black Friday and Cyber Monday is now known as “Cyber Week,” e-commerce brands to take a good look at this period.                                                                                                                                                                        

What is Cyber Monday?

Cyber Monday refers to the Monday after Thanksgiving. It started as marketers started to promote deals online as consumers came back from Thanksgiving break the week prior. Thanks for providing precise and vast information about discounts to consumers through social media sites like Facebook, it helped people spending more time online shopping.

Consumers tend to look at products that they missed during Black Friday or e-commerce sites where they can buy multiple products at once. Try to design videos that fit well with social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. Also, try to make in Square or Vertical. If you are designing in Vertical, include Call to Action items like “Swipe Up” animations to lead customers to purchase the product. Also, using Instagram’s Shopping Tags would be helpful especially for clothing brands or general merchandise stores.                                                                                                                                                                                                                              

Also, use neon sign effects, which go well with the term “Cyber Monday”. Also, add shiny text motion effects to emphasize your message.
