With the re-launch of Shakr Designer Program back in November 2018, we unveiled ShakrReady v2 plugin. While we were concerned about the overall transition in terms of how the new plugin would transition into designers’ workflow, many of you willingly took it as your new tools when making Shakr video designs. In fact, about 99.7% of video designs submitted in the last three months went through ShakrReady v2.

While we have suspended distribution of ShakrReady After Effects plugin(also known as “v1”), we did not suspend the service entirely, considering designers who already had the plugin. However, in order to support ShakrReady v2 with full effort, we are sunsetting ShakrReady v1 plugin.

Starting June 24, 2019, you can no longer use the ShakrReady v1 plugin within After Effects, upload a ShakrPKG file produced by the plugin on Creative Dashboard, and deploy it as a new video design.

If you have joined Shakr Designer Program after November 2018, or made the transition to the new ShakrReady v2 plugin, you are not affected.

If you have been using the After Effects Plugin to optimize your video designs, please take time to check out the new ShakrReady guide. The new plugin is so much easier and more convenient, that you will need no efforts to make the transition and leave the old plugin behind.

If you need to modify the video designs optimized with ShakrReady v1 plugin, please modify the design and upload the design using the v2 plugin.
